Hi all
Firstly, I don't currently have a mbu, I am planning my dream puffer tank that I Hope to get in the next year.
From my research it seems most people agree that a mbu can be kept with tankmates, ideally smaller ones.
How about with dwarf puffers? I am picturing a 1000gal with 100 dwafs and a mbu
It sounds awesome but I'm sure there is something I've not thought of...
Thanks

That's a very interesting question. Mbus are gentle giants & can be housed with fish much smaller than themselves. I might consider the DPs picking at the mbu though. Imagine keeping that lovely fish with 100 tiny piranhas.

They don't care, just as a piranha wouldn't. They'd just keep pecking at it's fins. I've heard of DPs taking "fin-rides" on fish 10x their size!

The best comparison for this is a human, naked in the woods during mosquito season.
