Hello,
Just joined the forum, absolutely love puffer fish, freshwater and salt water.
Currently I have just one,a juvenile Mbu puffer, which I adore.
It will only eat live river shrimp or earth worms (night crawlers,I believe they are sometimes called) .Now I know the fish is only young because it is only 2-3inches long maybe 5-7cm what can I do to get it to eat cockle in shells,or mussels or anything that will wear down its beak ?
I am worried if it just sticks to the above the beak will over grow and cause it harm.
I have tried mussel, cockle in and out of shell and frozen prawn.
Any advice will be gratefully received.
Thank you,
Jon

Welcome what size tank and what else is in it?
Also, have you tried any snails? Most puffs can't resist snails
