decoration ideas for fahaka tank?

Post by lesleyanndunn »

does anyone have any suggestions for decor for a tank, for a fahaka that destroys nearly everything!

real plants, plastic plants are all shredded to nothing, I have resin type large ornaments, and hes even taken chunks out of it.

tank has internal 3D background, and you catch him biting on it.

was going to try silk fake plants to see how long they survive!

anyone any other suggestions?

You got pics of what the tank looks like right now? He sounds scary to feed.

How about rocks?
Kind regards,

I have learned over the years that the fish get to choose how its tank looks, not the owner. As the owner all you can do is try things, if the fish doesn't want it there they will make sure it's not there.

Yeah, like cichlids piling all the substrate in one corner of the tank!

Love the tank!! Rock would be great for a fahaka that likes to chew on things. Maybe some base rock that you would use for African Cichlid tanks.
