fahaka in a 125 gallon

so easy question . got a quarter inch fahaka today and put him in my standard 125 gallon tank . am i going to need a wider tank like a 180 gallon?

He is tiny. Won't stay that way long lol

I'd add a TON of decor, so the lil fella feels safe.

Yea there isn't much in there right now. I got some driftwood today that I'm soaking but it still won't sink. I got him to eat some mysis today and he seems quite happy right now

I thought that lol. Mine was about 1.5 inches when I got him, that one is real tiny though

It better not be a dwarf puffer lol. I sold my latticeps ray and traded my 3 full grown discus just so I can get him. I'm pretty sure it is a fahaka from the eyes

I'm a little late on the post... But my Fahaka was about the same size when I got him. One of my LFS got him by accident. Talked the manager down to $30 for the little guy (posted $50). He/she is now 2 years old and over 10". EATS ANYTHING.

last meal was : a few earthworms, 1 canadian night crawler (huge earthworm basically) and a slug - all found in my backyard.

Cool . I got mine to eat tiny snails and mysis. He is not eating as much as I would expect but I hope to change that soon
