Joop the Fahaka!
A while ago I had 2 GSP's in a 200ltr tank. Sadly one of them died, he was sucked onto the in-tube of my filter. Not a nice sight.. But very important lesson learned here the hard way. ALWAYS USE THE BASKETS FOR THE IN-TUBE! He was the largest of the two and so I decided to give the other one to a friend of mine. After some thinking I decided to go freshwater again, the plants attracted me more then just algea-covered-rocks. So a new tank was born!
After a few month's having an almost empty tank (3 endlers, 1 dwarfpuffer and 1 Ancistrus male) and plant growth my tank looked like this:
Finally I had found a fish-store who had an import of Fahaka's! And not just a few, I could choose out of 30-40 sweet tiny-mini Fahaka's! (they where 2cm - 4cm) As soon the store had them, they called me. It was too late that evening to went for a drive to pick them up, so first thing in the morning I went to check the puffers out! And I came home with the sweetest, cutest and most territorial-driven one!
Now, 2 months later, he is doing very well! Here some more pic's from over-time, all in chronological order.

Re: Joop the Fahaka!
With crab I mean this kind of food (american freshwater, lives in rivers):
I feed him when they are about 4cm, not larger (yet). It's 2 bites and they are gone if he tries hard. Mostly it's gone in 3 or 4 bites. Alive shrimps are awesome to see getting slaughtered He becomes a true hunter when he knows I put them into the tank.
When the seawater temperature is a few degrees higher I am going to get my own food. The North Sea has some nice inhabitants like the Crangon Crangon

Re: Joop the Fahaka!
Still nothing for a background, found something but have to order it Takes some time Haha!
But I do have some new pictures from our friend Joop Yesterday he had a tadpole and young female endler for lunch, he liked it very much!! It won't be his 'normal' food, but it was more like a test what he would do with them.. Just eat them I noticed! (As he should ) Especially seeing the tadpole being sucked in like a vacuum cleaner was very funny!
If you see a tongue or lips true the glass.. it's possible Those are from my girlfriend, she likes to tease him. He thinks it is food
These are made by my girlfriend, she is learning to make good fish-pix! (my student )
And these I made myself:
Kiss! (with glass between the lips/teeth)
The tank he's living in:
