Pea puffer or GSP

Post by Kevinditra »

I just got an order of 3 GSP’s and they look more like Pea puffers to me. I’ve never seen a baby GSP so I don’t know for sure. Can anyone confirm before I tell the fish store they sent me the wrong fish?

Yep, 3 peas in a pod. Peas are shoaling fish--prefer to be in groups of 6 or more. My guess is if you have the room for 3 GSPs, you'd have enough room for 6 DPs.

Great thanks for your help. I have them in brackish water though because I set the tank up for GSP’s I guess now I have to slowly change it back to fresh water huh?

They will quickly DIE in BW. Change out all the water & add Tetra Safestart to the filter for quick FW cycling.
