fig 8 puffer care

Post by tanglefoot2005 »

TOPIC:1: What are some good plants and tank mates for a 20 gallon figure 8 puffer.
TOPIC:2: on the day that my year old f8 puffer is not fed he developed a misshaped belly and the belly area has bumps, I do not think it has parasites because some weeks it goes away and is not visible and on others it is lumpy again, is this normal?

20g isn't large enough for tank mates. Some plants that do well in low-end brackish water are java fern & java moss.

I would need a photo to determine the lumps.

It tales me some time to approve posts, as I am the only one moderating this site. My only guess is these lumps are food, since they go away the next day.
