Figure 8 Puffer and mystery snail

Post by Cdperr07 »

We have been building our tank for quite a while and working to get the water where it needed to be to get a puffer, and just got one. Its an adorable and endearing fish. It is at its adult size. But I have a mystery snail that is massive that I've become very fond of. Will the figure 8 puffer attack the snail, even though the snail is so much larger than the puffer?

I just don't want any harm to come to the snail, which I am surprised to have enjoyed so much.

Not only will he attack the snail to get at its meat, the snail will die in brackish conditions.
