Hi guys, I am about to set up a tank for a Green Spotted Puffer, and I got freshwater aquarium salt, which I am now hearing may be bad for my puffer. After doing some research I found that freshwater aquarium salt is basically salt that is deionized and and has few minerals. If I mix this with a very small amount of table salt, however, could I be able to bring back the minerals and basically create an environment good for my puffer. Thank you.

Tank: Fluval Flex 32.5 gallon

Medicines that I have laying around: Ich-x, API general cure and API E.M Erythromycin

previous tanks, 1 gallon snail tanks, 3 gallon shrimp tank.

I also have a hydrometer to measure the SG.

It's not "bad" for your puffer, just the wrong kind so salt.

Be sure to calibrate your hydrometer with calibration solution.

So It would technically work for enough time for me to switch over to a marine salt mix?
