My first play into brackish water with this little guy ! Takifugu ocellatus
Was the first fish I ever wanted but couldn't never find one for sale !
This little guy is already demolishing snails , prawns and bloodworm

Very cool fish! Unfortunately, extremely difficult to keep alive. I'd get it into SW, ASAP.

Re: Takifugu ocellatus
I've got him in low temp of between 19-21 , he's only on 6ppt ATM so I'm going to be slowly upping his salt levels every week ( stupidly forgot to buy a refractometer but have one coming tomorrow)
Doing a bit of research as to how much and how slowly I need to raise the levels

This fish regularly swims from BW-SW in a day. You can actually get him in SW by drip-acclimation. Just have to set up a SW tank (established live rock, protein skimmer, sand) & drip from that tank into a bucket, raising the SG .002/hour.
