Hey everyone.

I have put my Bumble Bee Gobies (who I adopted as freshwater fish) into a tank of their own - which will one day in the not to distant future - also be home to a Figure 8 :) !!! I am about to slowly convert them to brackish.

I know I need to use Marine salt but have now seen Seachem (and I am sure there will be other brands) has a brackish salt mix. A quick Google came up with these pros and cons. Brackish salt is apparently not as harsh on live plants, in fact this seems to be its main pro and what is attracting my attention. Cons, sounds more expensive and does not contain as many nutrients as Marine mix.

So I ask... what is your opinion or experience with brackish mix?

You need marine salt.
