Hey Everyone! I'm new to the forum, just joined today.
I have a 30G brackish tank with (or had) the following in it:
GS puffer about 1.5 inches
Figure 8 about 2.5 inches
2 bumble bee gobi (about an inch, 1 is now dead)
1 American flag about 2 inches
1 white molly about 1.5 inches
1 back sail fin molly about 2.5 inches (now dead)
1 orange molly about 2 inches (i added into the tank this morning)
So, as of now I have a total of 6 fish in the tank.
So here is the deal: I found one of the gobies dead, half eaten about a week ago. I chalked it up to just another dead fish which the others picked at it after it was dead. Then last night, I found the black molly the same way I found the gobi and this got me worried. This morning I added another molly and as soon as it was in there, the smallest puffer as well as the small white molly swam right up to it and started attacking it a little. Not harshly but they weren't exactly being nice.
I was under the impression that small puffers can be tank mates until they get bigger. Am I doing something wrong, do I have an overall aggressive puffer, are they dying then being eaten or ??
Thanks!

Puffers are killers at ANY age.
You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...

Also too many fish in there! Take out the puffs and you're good
