I have a 1300gph powerhead in my 33 G GSP tank. Should i leave it on 24/7?

He swims against it a lot. I figured i can put it on a timer so he can get some rest at night.

Mine hated them when they were little and stayed at the bottom all the time but now since they are big they don't seem to care anymore. lol
WARNING: Puffers are mischievous little blimps with enchanting powers. You may not be content with having just one.
