GSP Eating Trumpet Coral

Post by pokeystar »

Its not really a question just an observation, my 2 gsp are now 5cm (2in) and growing really fast in full marine (spg 1.021) I have introduced a trumpet coral and mushrooms and of the two puffers one is a coral biter. Only test bites on the mushrooms then they were left alone. Test bites on the trumpet corals have continued. I notice the dark lines along the gsp lateral line following the eating of the corals either the coral does not agree with the digestion or it releases something into the water. Running lots of carbon in the filter and the dark line vanishes after 24hours.

Guess its trial and error with the corals......
