Fish need to be shipped overnight, period! I'm afraid this isn't going to end well... Be prepared.

I've never had a fish shipped overnight it's always 2-3 day shipping. I begged for him to be shipped overnight but they wouldn't.

Now that it has been updated, I can see he was sent via 2-day so I'm not as worried. Still not sure on a name or when I'll be able to get the salt/hydrometer but a 10g with clean water is better than nothing right now.

Good thing it was wednesday instead of Thursday. Im not too well versed with shipping but if you have a tracking number and can be available you may be able to call to distro center she will be going to that you can pick her up from there. May be able to save serveral hours of stress and transport of her journey.

Still no tracking info this morning. Will check again in an hour or so, it may just not be updated.

Which shipping company? USPS is worthless for tracking something.

USPS. Hopefully my fish coming tomorrow updates because he's being held at the post office and I need to know when to go get him so he isn't just sitting there.

Kai (her official name) just got here after three days in a box. She is alive and well and currently not too happy to be in a bag floating in the tank, lol. I may take her out and put her in a 1/2-1gal (idr which) critter keeper and let her acclimate there because she is ramming the bag and trying to jump out even though it's not open, lol. Nice, snow white belly. I'm uploading a video as we speak!

Edit - Click here for the video! I'm about halfway done acclimating now.

Now that we're in the tank, we're bottom-sitting. She's in a shady spot so I can't tell if her tummy is white or grey. If I wiggle my finger near the glass, she moves, though. Here's the tank, please excuse the hideous decor, my infant daughter likes bright colors and a fish tank is more educational than tv -

No, she was in a horrible home. 1 gallon bowl with monthly water changes. She didn't even get fresh water for the trip, I tested it and it was 40-80ppm of ammonia and 40 nitrates.

Glad to hear Kai is alright. She looks good outside of a little skiddish but she should settle in. Good rescue.
