feeding time..

Post by fish 4 life »

Hey guys so i went to the store today and pick up some fresh food for my F8.. I got him raw shell on shrimp, little back claim, and black mussel.. His favorite was the shrimp. I had to throw the mussel away because it was all mush.. Anyways good dinner??

I get them frozen, in bags at Tony's.

looks like a good dinner! make sure to freeze them though to kill off any nasty parasites or something that might harm the puffer. then soak in tank water with vitamin supplement for a while(some people soak overnight while its sitting in the fridge), good to go :D

you can also try crab legs and scallops. i did a mix of raw shrimp, clams, crabs and some frozen cubed food as treats(bloodworms, mussel, squid, clam, mysis). my gsp wasnt a big fan of scallops or mussels on the shell. but for some reason loved the frozen cubed mussels
