I absolutely do not have the mind of a scientist.
I basically take RTR's words as gospel.
The man knows what he's doing.

How did I miss this thread!! Genius!
I think we need a video of the tank-dunking experiment...
Also, did you try a tank with a black background...?

ROTFLOL!!! (Rolling On The Floor Laughing Out Loud)
My wife just came in to see if I had lost it. At least she did not catch me with my head in a tank. I think that would call 911.
Bertie, you get the "Pragmatist of the Year!" award for the simplest test and resolution, but one I would not volunteer to do myself, so would not suggest it either. My son, now in his 40s, did have a waterproof periscope that we used to take to vacations with us. It came from Toys R Us, but well over a generation ago. I no longer keep up with such things.

This has made my day! Physics rules!

I tend not to cos it brings up gobbledygook and I end up more confused, I am not the sharpest tool in the box when it comes to the written word lol. I need things put simply no long words, lmao

Wow this appears to be one of the most historic and fascinating scientific debate/experiment in history right here! LMAO

Re: F8 in a 10 gallon?
Ok.. the irritating me is back again...
Again, I just couldnt sleep without trying out for myself...
So, I waterproof my phone, dunked in into my tank along with a dummy sponge birdy..
See the video yourself for the answer. First, its against a black background. Then, Against the room without any light. Courtesy of Birdy and his home.

Could the air bubble round the phone cause that? I didn't see any reflection at all when I was in the tank

Re: F8 in a 10 gallon?
Lol.. I laugh when I think of U in the tank...
I have a theory..Could it be that your head is blocking the light when U were in there? or the light is coming from outside the tank. Both doesn't allow light to reflect off U.
Hmm.. The air bubble.. I have to really think thru this logically...
