When I feed muscles...... if the outside is facing up, my puffers do not see it !!!!
but if the outside is facing down, they are all over it - and then if it flips, so the outside is up again, he again goes away and acts like its not even there

My puffers LOVE dried krill. I use the large ones for my modestus, and the really tiny ones for the irrubesco.
So far it's the only thing they will eat besides bloodworms. Mussels were a no-go with mine, and I haven't been able to obtain blackworms from anyone yet. I think they eat live snails. I've got a small snail breeder tank that allows me to give them a few small ones each week. Except for the olive nerites, eventually all snails end up as empty shells, so I assume the puffers are eating them.
