Nice, my anacharis hasn't been going as well as yours, they seem to be derooted alot

It can be pretty hard to keep them buried. I have them looped under the wood, so it holds them down. They grow like crazy. My other tanks aren't doing quite as well with it though.

it does you can see it growing. I just keep losing the roots a lot though I started out with a little bunch now I have 3 strands

Yeah. From my experience, the roots aren't essential. Most of mine just have a couple spindly ones coming from the stem, if any at all. I break long strands to make new plants, so they multiply quite fast. But in my other main tank, I used to have several, and now there are just a few like you said. Don't know where they went, actually.

Some fish and such will eat anacharis like mad. I used to get buckets of it from a local turtle club, but my goldfish and turtles would eat it all like crazy. Now I'm down to just a few strands, and I've quit trying to keep any anacharis in my pond...

Does anyone know of a good site to buy fake decorations and/or live plants for a brackish set up?
