You can't just add salt, a little bit more to it like math, usng the right salt, and dissolving the salt....alltogether not that difficult :D .

That certainly seems to apply fully to GSPs.

It does not necessarily apply equally to F-8s. I tend to doubt that it does. They are not at all the same as GSPs.
What about when they are smaller than the 2", should they be in brackish until they are that size?
