Hello!
This is my first post on this site. I have expierence with a variety of freshwater fish ranging from guppies to arowanas. Puffers have always fascinated me and I've worked with most of the freshwater species.
However, I've been thinking about getting a F8 for a while now and I'm finally able to do so. Of course I've been obsessively researching about it, but I do have some questions that were difficult to find concrete answers to.
What feeding schedule do you have your F8s on?
What does their diet consist of?
Should you avoid feeding krill?
I'm hoping to get an adult or sub-adult. So far what I have is...
Live Pond/Ramshorn Snails (bred in a in a separate tank)
Live ghost shrimp (from my reputable LFS and quarrentined)
Frozen Bloodworms
Frozen Mysis Shrimp
Frozen Clam on a Half Shell
Alternating between the foods listed above with feedings 3x weekly.
Is this a nutritionally complete diet? Should I add or take off anything?
Any tips are appreciated! Thank you!
