breeding silus

Post by colin_elcolbol »

i was wondering what signs are to breeding silus puffers, my 2 have really been acting up lately, they've been dancing alot, they swim side by side everywhere they go, when they're side by side they kind of make their body do a wave n sync with eachother....what does this mean??

No documented info on these spawning in captivity.

Hard to get a spawn when its impossible to tell the sexes by external exam. Good luck! Hope you don't end up with two shredded silus. Mine tore each other's fins up after they were together for awhile.

Hmmm, yes keep us updated. I am most interested in the Auriglobus genera of puffers, and I would be very eager to know any info about them spawning.

Sounds like you could have a pairing going though :D
