my T. Abei being afferctionate?

My 2 t. Abei are acting funny....is this mating? They usually keep distance but now they are rubbing on each other and staying in the corner....
Extra info: one is 2 yrs old, the other I'm unsure but definitely younger. They are in a 55 gal tank, just the two of them. No aggression ever, not over territory or food but they dont usually hang out like this...

Keep us posted on future behavior, please. It is not often easy to co-house puffers.
