fahaka laying eggs

Post by NJD » Sat Dec 01, 2018 3:23 pm

howdy all,

had confirmation tonight that my fahaka is definitely a female! she's laid literally thousands of eggs in one patch of the aquarium.

Sad that I'll never be able to get them fertilised as no way of finding a guaranteed male and even if i did they'd probably kill each other before breeding!!

It'll be a bit of a nuisance to have to clean them all up before they go rotten every few weeks :D

Just part of being a pufferparent!
You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...
