Hello from Denmark

Post by WAYFARER »

I'm new on this site. I kept pea puffers before, maybe 6-8 years ago. They are messy, aggressive, picky about water condition and food. So a couple of months ago i started up a new 112L. Aquarium with lots of plants and 6 pea puffers😄 i started with 3 Boys and 6 Girls. 2 Boys and 1 girl was the C. Imitator - they are extremely aggressive to the other puffers, cut down plants and picking on the tree roots. I newer seen so much anger in a dwarf puffer before. So they where sold. Am i the only one noticed the differents between the two dwarf puffer species?

Thanks in regards.

Interesting observation. Can you separate them?
