Of the well over 5,000 T. schoutedeni that I've spawned and raised, I've never seen an albino. It is an F2.

Wow, how cool! How can you tell its an albino?

They are a different color than the normal fry, but the they also have red eyes.

I can't wait to see what a gorgeous adult it becomes!
I have tons of folks looking for this species at a puffer group on Facebook. Do you have any to sell? I would be very interested in some (especially this guy!)

I like the look of the leucism much more than the albino.

I've found that I only get the albinos when spawning my F2 puffers together. I do not get them if spawning an F2 with a wild-caught. Or an F2 with an F3. Are you seeing anything like that with the leucism?

I too prefer the white variant to the albino.
I have not succeeded in breeding F3 yet, but I have spawned many times, the F3 male seems to be still immature.
