Trumpet Snails as Food

Post by HanterBen »

I have an inexhaustible supply of red rimmed melanie snails available as a friends cichlid tank is full of them.
Has anyone any experience of using these as a food source?

Their shell is too hard, unless you crush them. they have been known to break puffer's teeth.
