What do I have here? freshwater Puffer ID help

Post by Niblet »

I answered an add from Facebook and they guy said he has this Congo Puffer with a 20 gallon and a bunch of nice plants for 100.00 for the entire set up
I am on it, since I LOVE Spotted Congo Puffers, I arrive and he says,,there it is,,and I cant see it,,,I look and look and finally I see it buried in the sand.
well my Congo puffer doesn't do that but hey, whatever, I get him home and get the tank re-set up and I really don't think this is a spotted congo,,
supposedly he is 3 yrs old,,,I have no idea,,,forgive the messy tank,,I just got him and am slowly acclimating him to MY tank standards
Thanks in advance

Congrats. You've got a Congo puffer. Tetraodon miurus. Totally different animal.
