hi , i'm new in this forum , i'm italian , so sorry for my english :D
i've bought a new carinotetraodon travancorius (pea puffer) for my planted 5 gallon tank , the puffer is in the tank for 3 days and is always hidden and shy on the back of the tank.
water parameters :
ph 8.1
no2 0mg
no3 0.2mg
cond 300uc
po4 1 mg/l
kh 5
gh 6

I feed him with boodworm and snails but he don't eat a lot
what could be the problem?

Have you seen it poo ever? If it is white and stringy, it might have an internal parasite. You may want to treat it. I think dwarf puffers can be shy, but from what I've read they are usually curious and somewhat adventurous. Odd lumps in the stomach can be signs of parasites.

I don't want to jump to conclusions, though. You may want to observe it for another day or two and I hope it is actually just shy!
