Labeled Leiurus
Labeled Leiurus
I was told this is a leiurus but the snout doesn't look long enough. I think this is a fangs puffer. Any thoughts?

I believe you are correct.
You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...

Re: Labeled Leiurus
I don't know what's up with the leiurus label lately. I don't think I've ever seen a true leiurus offered in the US.
Re: Labeled Leiurus
There is a shop near me that I am pretty sure has a genuine liurus, has been in for months.
Re: Labeled Leiurus
Buy it!!
Re: Labeled Leiurus
I have intended to for a while, problem is, every time i go in i don't have a spare tank, and every time i set up a new tank i forget to go buy him!! he's only £15 ($20!)
maybe next time..

Re: Labeled Leiurus

Thanks - hoping to collect it tomorrow! I'll let you know and post pics!
Is there anything I can look out for to confirm its a true leiurus?

Re: Labeled Leiurus
Snout is long like 2 eye ball length. It looks kind if like barbatus but will transition to white gradually on the belly.

In case you're interested i just saw this that looks like a real leiurus :
