Howdy all..
Having been away for a week I thought i'd post an update.
I was a bit nervous as to what state my puffers (especially my baileyis and savatti as they are very new and still settling in!) would be in. I had somebody going in to feed them everyday who is an experienced fish keeper but has never kept puffers...
Thankfully a full head count and everybody doing really well!!
1) My Suvatti was eating relatively well before i left (would have 4 or 5 shrimp every few days but only if i put it right in front of him). Today when i walked in he swam straight for the front of the tank looking for food. He ate 6 defrosted clams straight away!
2) My big baileyi (the one that didn't arrive in great condition) who was just starting to eat before i left, also swam straight to the front looking for food and took 4-5 clams straight away.
3) my small baileyi's doing equally well - all of them came straight to me and had 1-2 clams each.
I'm so pleased that all of them have settled really well, I may not be as experienced as a lot of people on here but I guess I must be doing something right if they're eating so well / easily
PS scrap the whole 6 month rule, hoping to get a Leiurus tomorrow and miurus (and possibly diboisi) in the next week or so.
Though pretty soon I will be running out of room for new tanks (and $$$!!!)
They arrived!! New Baileyi and Suvatti

I hate you and DM. My Congo eats pretty good and is active. The suvatti hardly does a thing and eats 1-3 worms a week tops right now. Definitely doesnt come to the glass.

@NJD, Glad to hear the new puffs are doing good.

NJD, I think you may be overfeeding them. Are you skipping any days?
You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...

Hubby has called more than 1 of my puffers a "turd".
