Mbu in a Community Tank

Looking to comm a Mbu with non aggressive fish - tetras, guppies maybe angels.
I've done some research that loaches, plecos and cory are bad ideas.

So (1) just seeking advice on the above statement.

(2) Any pointers when choosing a Mbu? Is a passive one good - given it may "snap" once introduced into the community or an aggressive one?
I know its a tough question.

Most important question is, what is the tank size & filtration?

initial tank is 180 gallons with a 80 gallon sump - with overflow and underflow leading from main tank to sump.
This is just a grow out tank as I intend to get the smallest specimen possible - probably 3-5 inches (we do get them this size in Singapore).
