I'm in the midst of setting up a 10 gallon for some Pea Puffers and my original plan was to keep snails seperate. I currently have 2 Ramshorn Snails in a 1 gallon separate from the main tank. But now I'm having some doubts. I want them to be healthy, but i don't want them to eat my plants.
Would it be better to keep them seperate and throw in a few for the puffers every week
or
Keep them in the main tank with the puffers?

You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...

I checked that one too, but the pictures don't show. Is that just me, or have they gone from the articel?

Yes, unfortunately, when the board upgrade was done, we lost all the Library's photos.

Re: Breeding Snails for my Puffers
Keeping ramshorns in a separate, 8 gallon tank myself, filtration by a sponge filter. I only keep a piece of driftwood in it and a piece of cutle bone on which they really like to graze.
I also keep some ramshorns in other tanks with smaller fish to have a constant flow of snails.
I don't notice the snails ruining my plants (mostly crypts). I feed them everyday with algae tablets or botia pellets or shrimp pellets. Sometimes I trow in some cuttings of Java moss (Christmas moss) when I trim it back in my other tanks.
I do water changes of 30-50% once or twice a week.
