Yeah dude he looks good. He's a lot more triangular/less round than mine, so I wonder if one's a male and one's a female... Also I put a 6 inch Ctenopoma Ocellatum with mine, and my puffer immediately attacked it, so now the Ctenopoma is temporarily living with my stingray until I can find it another home.

Wow that’s shocking that your puffer went after the Ctenopoma Ocellatum and attacked it, normally they would not touch any fish bigger then their size, really sorry to hear about that, but I am not sure on the sex of this one, it could be a male lol, how is your Puffer doing so far?

Mine is awesome, thanks. Again, I think that you have a Duboisi puffer with a more mild temperament than most. What's also interesting is that I haven't seen mine bury in the sand once, which I've heard that they do. It really is unfortunate that there isn't more information on them out there.

Yeah it’s unfortunate, but hopefully more will be shipped to the USA, I like that they rare, lol I would definitely go to the area that they are found and try to search for more and find out how they live in the wild, that would be really awesome to find out

I may be mistaken, but I believe that this video is from a camera in the wild

Yeah it’s from the aquarium in his shop lol if it was in the wild the camera would not be in one place and the water would not be clear at all, that area for some odd reason is really dangerous from what I am hearing

I guess never mind then. I think it's that the Schoutedeni and Miurus are common in areas that are hard to reach, and the Duboisi is rare and only occurs in Stanley Pool.

Schoutedeni are breeding readily in home aquariums. I suspect their price will drop quickly.

Yeah, thank God I didn't buy one when they were going for $400-$500. If the Duboisi becomes common I'll be pretty annoyed for spending so much money.

yeah Schoutedeni and Miurus are definitely obtainable, hopefully someone will find a way to breed the Duboisi in captivity, I know there is a YouTube channel of someone that has a couple of Duboisi puffers, it looks like they are trying to breed it in captivity, I think the person is somewhere in Asia

The Duboisi seems to be very difficult Puffer to breed in captivity

Yeah I've seen those, one of them looks more like an Abei puffer though. And again, they're so aggressive that people who spend $500-$1000 per fish don't want to risk losing one

Yeah that’s true lol I have already lost the first one that I had, and I am watching this guy close every single day and making sure that he is coming up to the glass like normal, is it ok for them to run their chin against the glass?
