Awesome man, glad you found another. I was meaning to ask, for your last one what were the aquarium size and tankmates?

Re: I found another Duboisi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The last one I have a 45 gallon tank with a African tiger scat fish and the parrot fish, they all got along just fine, there were no issues. Hopefully this one will not scratch itself somewhere and grow a bump like the last one, just praying that it will have no issues with it’s health.

Oh no, did you loose the last one?!?! I am so sorry to hear that, I know how special finding it was. Re: I found another Duboisi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah I lost the last one unfortunately it was a very curious and nervous puffer and it scratched itself on something and had a big bump on its chin unfortunately, I found this guy somewhere else, I am just really happy I found him! It took a while since the last one died in February.

Re: I found another Duboisi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Interesting... I haven’t tried anything with mine since I was told he was similar in behavior to my Congo, but I’m thinking about trying a Ctenopoma Weeksii or Ctenopoma Acutirostre just to see.AdamSafi wrote: ↑Mon Jul 02, 2018 2:03 am The last one I have a 45 gallon tank with a African tiger scat fish and the parrot fish, they all got along just fine, there were no issues. Re: I found another Duboisi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If the fish is the same size as the puffer or a little bigger it will not go after it, but if it is smaller then it will eat it as soon as it will get the chance lol, but give it a try and make sure that the fish is bigger or similar in size.

Re: I found another Duboisi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah mine is about 4 inches right now, so that shouldn’t be too hard. I was planning on it anyways, since he DESTROYS guppies that are smaller than him. Also, have you gotten yours yet or is it being shipped?

Re: I found another Duboisi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Looks really good! And he has been only going after guppies right now? They will eat bloodworms really quickly, when I had my last one, I fed guppies on the first night and then quickly went after bloodworms within no time.

Re: I found another Duboisi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks! I’ve been feeding him guppies, live shrimp, frozen shrimp, worms, and lobster claws. I haven’t tried bloodworms since he likes earthworms so much but I may in the future, thanks for letting me know. Btw do you know if anyone else on here has (or has had) a Duboisi?

Re: I found another Duboisi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No I don’t know anyone else that had a Duboisi previously, they are super rare and hard to find and not many people know about it because they come from the most toughest area in the Congo river.
