Hey guys,

So I haven't been on here for a while, but I just wanted to let you know that yesterday I ordered a Tetraodon Duboisi from an African fish importer I've bought from before. I couldn't believe that one was available, as I recently read that the species could have possibly gone extinct! Anyways, the importer said that he would quarantine and treat it for me, and it will be available to pick up around early June. I will post pics once I get it. Btw if anyone has some info on caring for them, or has done so in the past, PLEASE let me know! Thank you

Yikes, that SUCKS! Although in that picture the Tetraodon Duboisi was living with another fish, so that definitely could have been part of the problem. Is there a way to reach out to that person, like tag them or something?

So just an update, the duboisi puffer arrived earlier today, and it’s already eating and looking really healthy. I’m gonna pick it up in June still.

Also, I forgot to ask this but does anyone have an idea of whether or not a Ctenopoma Weeksii would work? I’m sorta hoping to create like a mini Congo biotope

These fish are piscivores, so NO tank mates!

I do hope you have better luck than I did with my Duboisi Puffer, I am still bummed about him passing away, wish I could have him back.

I got mine from Aquatic imports of Hawaii for $474.00, I don’t really care about how much I paid, it was worth every penny for this Puffer, they are beautiful fish.
