Do dwarf puffers travel well?
I'm moving to college in August and I want to take them with me. What's the best way to transport them?

I'll be driving about 6 hours, plus loading and unloading etc. so like 7? I have three and they're well fed, healthy, and getting to know me. I've had them about 3 months.

Re: Do dwarf puffers travel well?
I transported mine for 9-10 hrs in a Home Depot bucket & lid with an air stone run by an inexpensive air pump with an inverter plugged into the lighter socket in my car.
There was enough water in the covered bucket to keep the temperature stable.
At the destination, I added a heater to the bucket for the night, continuing to run the air pump & stone.
Fish went into the tank the next day.
Considering you have healthy fish to begin with, you should have no trouble.
