Hi,

We just received two, 2 inchTetraodon schoutedeni last week.
They are pretty amazing.
It's bare bottom tanks with driftwood all over for a start. Black sand to come.
We have plenty of quarantine tanks ready for separation if the together thing does not work out.

As for example of behavior for groups, our current single Pea puffer was obviously ok with itself and we added 7 more (8 total now) this weekend and they are all doing great together as they seemed in the store.

Back in the day, our 2 Pea puffers were not so good to eachother, but 2 seem to create a dominant one and a less dominant.
The group rule theory seems to be working.

Back to the Tetraodon schoutedeni set we just picked up, I would love to try a few more in a 60x18x24 120g tank I have until I get the future "big tank purchased. I personally don't care for 18 inch tank as they fill up quick. I like the 24 inch base (front to back) for a minimum.
I'm glad to see there is some hope of keeping a group of Tetraodon schoutedeni.

They eat frozen blood worms, live work from an organic garden, live black worms, and live brine shrimp. We even tried a few small Ghost shrimp that the Tetraodon schoutedeni have trouble catching so far.
Ghost shrimp are quite fast when they go backwards.

We have been adding Anubias nana petite (Anubias plant with tiny leaves) to the tall 24x24x30 high 74g tower for the eight pea puffers.
The 80 under the TV has freshwater gobies.
The new schoutedeni puffers have 40 breeders, but may be in a 120g soon.

'Excited for more again.
Holy paycheck blackhole.

5 more on the way if all goes well this next week.
Seven total when finalized.
We quarantined a good amount of plants that finally made it to the numerous driftwood structures in the schoutedeni puffer tanks.

So far these puffers love the live plants.
They search all over for one last little morsel of live food like a doberman dog guarding property.
Every leaf seems to get a full inspection for more snail meal with curious searching eyes.

These puffers are amazing.
I hope the life span is as good as the data states.

As far as the 1st set:
One schoutedeni is more slow traveling and peaceful, and the other is a full on funny handful of energy that can't wait to see a human pass by the doorway.
It's like a little monkey that gets excited when company is in the room.
