Algae Control in DP tank.

My dwarf puffer tank is getting a little fuzzy especially in the moss. I thought to put some Amano Shrimp in to tidy up, has anyone managed this successfully? If not, what other alternatives do I have? The tank is heavily planted, the plants are peeling, the ammonia and nitrites both 0, nitrates less than 5. Iā€™m probably leaving the light on too long, from 8.30 am to 9.30 pmish.

Too much light and/or high potassium levels.
What do you mean by "the plants are peeling"?

Yes, believe it or not, they usually leave the shrimp alone. Also try otos.

Amano Shrimp are,as you said, being ignored by the puffs. All is well. šŸ˜Š
