70 Gallon Stocking

Post by autistwithfish »

Hi, I just moved, and I want to set up my largest tank with pufferfish. Its a 300 liter tank (120cm long by 45cm wide by 55cm tall) with a ~100 liter sump filter. I'd like some kind of fairly active puffer, not any of the ambush predators like arrowhead or mekong. Currently I'm torn between Amazon Puffers, Avocado puffers and F8s. The Avocado and F8s are found at my LFS, but if there's a place I can order Amazon's online, I'd prefer that. I'd appreciate any advice you have, especially concerning keeping multiple avocado puffers together. Alternatively, any other stocking suggestions are welcomed. my tap water is quite hard, however, so keep that in mind

With SAPs, keep in mind with that large tank you will need to catch each fish every 4-6 months to trim their teeth.
