What heater for fahaka tank

Post by Jwild »

Hi I'm new to the forum. Well I guess technically new to register, I've actually been reading around off and on for a while now. Sorry if this question has already been asked,I'm not very good at maneuvering around computers, although, I did try to search for the answer. Basically what I'm wanting to know is,does anyone put heaters in the tank with their fahaka puffer? I've seen people on YouTube with heaters in their tank. Do the puffers try to eat it? I'm just trying to plan ahead,I don't have the puffer yet. I also don't plan on having a sump. Would A titanium heater work? Or should I wrap it with PVC or eggcrate or something? Thanks

My fahaka was a pretty mellow fellow--even allowed tank mates. I do thnk titanium would be your safest bet.
