Yea, I just noticed that yesterday... :(
I'll ask Wetspot, as there are lots of other fish I want from them.

They had them but sold out. I just missed out! :( I'm sure they'll get some more at some point... the question is when.

Are you 100% sure they have had CB Schouetedini? If that's true it might be worth waiting to get a few vs one WC....

Did you get one? I just put one on hold- have to pick it up by end of day today! :D

I'm thinking of starting it in a 10 gallon to grow a bit. At what size will the 10 gallon be too small?

I am really happy I put it on hold because it was the only one left in the tank in their storefront. (They usually keep some separate for online ordering.) He is probably a good full 2 inches.

I emailed them & offered to Paypal them for 3 of them, until I was able to put together a bigger list for them.

I'd say, 3".

Mine was pacing a bit the first 24 hours or so but has settled in now and exploring everywhere, looking for food. :) He ate live blackworms out of tongs, and then hunted loose ones down. He's also eaten a ramshorn snail off of tongs (I was trying to place the snail on a piece of wood and it didn't want to come off so he just ate it from the tong. Haha) Either way I was happy to see him eat and already off of the tongs makes me happy so I can spot feed him if necessary. The bichirs are pigs but they hunt by smell - since this guy hunts by sight I believe it might be a good match.

I removed a ton of the MTS out of my tank and bought a bunch of ramshorns and threw them in my Betta tank. Am hoping that they'll reproduce there but am not sure? I don't want to foul the betta water but I know the snails will breed more readily if there is excess food.

I am off to read more about feeding. Do you guys generally feed every other day? That's how I feed the rest of my tank. How much do you feed? I know snails should be about the size of their eye - do you feed one snail per day? Doesn't seem like much but I don't want to overfeed either.

I really hope that this combo works out long term because this is like my dream tank now, and I cannot stop staring at it. :)

Is there a way to embed youtube videos in here?
