I have mine with a gravel substrate, but it does not make any difference to him because he swims all day, they do not bury themselves. The only puffer that will bury themselves is the Miurus puffer.

There are many puffers that bury themselves, including the fahaka puffer.

Are they supposed to be eating everyday? Because last night I fed my Puffer and he ate a lot, but now he doesn't want to eat at all, he still has a fat belly as well

He's saying the Congo is like a GSP but it's FW. Like a "FW" GSP, get it?

Is it normal for the spotted Congo puffer to open their tail a couple time? Because I saw mine constantly opening it's tail

My schoutedeni puffer usually open its tail when the lights are off. Are you able to feed it anything else beside snail? I'm having trouble trying to get it to eat "dead" food. I've tried clams, dried shrimp, frozen bloodworm, squid, tilapia and pellets. I even dipped the food in garlic juice.

I have no trouble at all feeding my Schoutedeni Puffer, he will eat anything. I feed him freeze dried krill and blood worms, have tried feeding him with tong?

My puffer is a very picky eater. I always use tongs to feed him. He would chase after it looking for snails. I will probably stop feeding him and hope he will try eating other food.

My schoutedeni are eating snails, frozen bloodworms, live black worms, live white worms, live grindal worms, frozen krill. They have even nibbled on some plecocaine crumble, and krill pellets.
