Dwarf puffers and bloodworms.

Post by vladvenger »

I'm looking to buy some dwarf puffers and have a question about what to feed them.
How many frozen bloodworms should I feed each puffer?

Just a couple for adults. It's like any puffer, watch the belly- it should be smooth and round after feeding: but not bulging or bumpy (bumpy means parasites usually). If the belly looks over swollen after feeding then wait a meal or two- for the food to digest and belly to level back out, then feed less the next sitting! If you feed too little, they will graze on any snails or shrimp you may have in the tank- which is good for them to have for a varied diet. I hope this makes sense, lol
