Post by AdamSafi »

I bought a Congo Puffer last Friday and he has not been eating, I did have a fahaka Puffer that kept attacking him but I gave it to my local fish store and I also bought some guppies for him to eat, and he is still not eating, please help me out with this situation.
Thanks

You housed him with a fahaka??? He is likely highly stressed from that situation. What size tank? Did you quarantine the guppies? How are you showing no nitrate? What test kits are you using?
It's amazing how easy maintenance is. If done regularly and thoroughly

Yeah I took out the Fahaka puffer, but unfortunately I lost the Congo puffer while I was away and my mom was taking care of him and he was eating. I did finally get another Congo puffer and I bought a Green spotted puffer, when I put the Green spotted puffer in the Congo attacked him and I took the GSP out and now the Congo puffer is not eating everything is normal. I was told that he was hype and he needs some time to calm down, can anyone else tell me about this?

This morning I wake up and I saw the little guy dead and I don't know how he died, I tested the water everything is fine and normal, but I do not know how he died.
