Drastic change in DP behaviour

Post by kei »

I've had my DPs for a little over a year now, but the past few weeks they've all gone been being social, happy to see me puffers to being skittish and hating anyone being near the tank. They all hide out at the very back of the tank and refuse to come out when I'm around, even at feeding time. The tank is well planted with plenty of shelter, so the only thing I can think that's causing this is that I've been using an algae treatment. If it's not then I've no idea. Has anyone else experienced something like this?? :C

I've noticed occasional mood swings in my gsp. I've had period of a couple weeks that it will avoid me like the plague. Then after will be back to normal behavior.

Have you tested the water lately?
You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...
