I just saw tetraodon schoutedeni listed on a West African list, it was $600.
Above is a Japanese video of a group, it's a beautiful fish and there's a similarity to an Mbu, especially the tail. There are some other videos from the same user that look like the same group of puffers.
There was some other Japanese video of them that I can't find again, which showed their color really well.
A really good looking puffer, described as peaceful enough by the Baensch atlas. The picture in Baensch doesn't do justice to it like the videos though.

Re: Tetraodon Schoutedeni
Wow, I haven't seen these available in the aquarium trade in over 30 years!
You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...

Excellent pictures of tetraodon schoutedeni, for sale in Japan.
Maybe they will become more common and less expensive. I wonder why they weren't available for so long.

A guy just offered some up for sale in Korea from a Canadian supplier for 1 million KRW (about $900 dollars). if they were going for about half that I'd be a little tempted.
