Hey everyone
I have been a long time lurker, so I figure it's about time I start participating in the forums. I have had dwarf puffers, green spotted puffers, and congo puffers. Currently the only puffer I have is this little guy.
He is a orange congo puffer that is about 3 1/2" long. I have had him for 1 1/2 years, and it's the 3rd congo puffer I have owned. He has a 40b to himself with a Aquatop 500 w/uv filter to keep a nice current and a clean tank.
His personality is unlike any congo puffer I have seen. He spends 75% of his time swimming around in his tank. He is only burrowed for a little while during the day, and he will burrow in the evenings when he is ready for bed. I placed a mirror on one side of his tank, which is where he spends most of his time. On the other side he enjoys watching community fish in my planted 75 gallon. At his current size, he is eating about 15 fish per week. I have a trusted local fish shop where I purchase minnows and ghost shrimp for him, and I also breed endler guppies. His only tank mate is a zebra nerite snail. I have owned many fish in the past, but he is without a doubt the most interactive fish I have had.

He sounds quite entertaining & entertained! Have you tried feeding him any dead foods?
You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...
