Done a 50% WC today, cleaned the filter and turned the heat back down to 80F (As she's now finished the treatment) She was fighting with the ghost shrimp to get the bloodworm I put in there.

aww
glad your puffer is feeling better and is getting fat, feed 6x a week and then don't feed her one day so she doesn't get a fatty liver.

Re: Building up my first FW tank
Sadly, yesterday she passed away. I have no idea what could of caused it as she seemed fine the morning I left her, she was eating well and the water was very healthy, the tank was clean, so it really is a mystery.
I can't afford to start again so I will be giving my aquarium and the equipment to my brother who already has a tank and wants a bigger one. For the short time I had her she grew a lot, sad to see her go like this.

Sorry for your loss dude, I know how hard you worked to get her healthy and to take care of her. Hope you will try again sometime, but I understand you wanting to get out of fish keeping for a while. Good luck with everything and I hope that you will continue to post here and be an active member.
