Yellow fins

Post by Blusaffire »

I've been searching for the thread containing pics of yellowish DP's and can't find it. The reason...
I obtained a few more DP's and a couple have a distinct yellow colouring throughout the fins. Any insight as to the whys? Is this a male trait? Age?

Thanks.
ps...I'm trying to capture clearer pics

Some better pics would really be nice.
Variations in colours are exactly what we need for the Gallery.

Looks like a fairly typical (if slightly undernourished) male to me.
The males do tend to have more yellow in the tail IME.
